Portrait Portfolio

Emma Jackson

I’m an artist. My style is rooted in expressive portraiture. I love using simple tools like charcoal and graphite to capture a person’s essence, thoughts, and the life they’ve lived. I’m fascinated by the idea of creating something unique each time, so I never draw the same portrait twice. Instead, I play with different textures, backgrounds, and styles to create something truly authentic.

Recently, I’ve been exploring themes of memory and loss in my work, often inspired by old family photographs. It’s a way for me to reflect on what we remember, what fades away, and what we might imagine.
